As a Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various regional locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive designated routes responsibly and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and functionality.
• Report any discrepancies or incidents in load documents and delivery logs.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.
• Follow all company protocols regarding safety and customer interactions.
• Stay updated with local traffic laws and road regulations.
• Respond to client inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Assist in training new drivers regarding our operational standards.

Requirements

Education

• MATRIC Certificate or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years as a Heavy Truck Driver, preferably in logistics.

Advantageous

• First Aid Training: Knowledge of first aid is beneficial for emergency situations.
