Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to optimize our systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects, improving efficiencies, and maintaining quality control in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and refine manufacturing processes for increased productivity.
  • Lead projects from conception through to completion, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Work with teams to assess production needs and develop strategic plans.
  • Monitor project progress, adjusting resources and timelines as necessary.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement effective control measures.
  • Train staff on best practices and new systems.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
  • Report on project metrics to senior management.
  • Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and discussions to promote teamwork.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Experience
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing engineering role with project management experience.
Technical Skills
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • AutoCAD or similar design software
Soft Skills
  • Critical Thinking
Certifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Master's degree in a relevant field: Higher qualifications in engineering will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience in a regulated industry: Knowledge of compliance requirements in medical devices or aerospace is a plus.
