Job Description

We seek an experienced Insurance Underwriter with a knack for analysing risks and assessing insurance applications. You will identify potential hazards and determine appropriate premiums, while also collaborating with our agents to drive business solutions and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client needs to provide tailored coverage solutions.
• Conduct in-depth risk assessments and document findings.
• Provide recommendations to management on underwriting practices.
• Communicate underwriting decisions and rationale to clients and agents.
• Assist in developing underwriting policies and procedures.
• Implement strategies for anomaly detection and risk prevention.
• Ensure timely processing of applications and adherence to service level agreements.
• Report on industry trends to inform underwriting practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of underwriting experience is preferred
