Job Description

We are on the lookout for talented Camera Operators who are passionate about creating visual content for television, video, and film. The ideal candidate will have experience with various camera equipment, strong technical knowledge, and a creative eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Utilize various camera systems and techniques to capture compelling footage.
• Contribute to the creative process by suggesting innovative ways to capture scenes.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards on set during filming.
• Maintain organizational skills with regard to equipment management and footage logging.
• Collaborate with the production team to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Mentor junior camera operators and assist in their development.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Cinematography or related discipline
• Postgraduate qualifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of practical experience in camera operation

Technical Skills

• Video Editing Software
• Sound Equipment Operation

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Strong Communication

Certifications

• Certified Filmmaker Certification
• SAG-AFTRA Membership (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with teleprompters: Experience assisting presenters and actors using teleprompters.
