Job Description

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural design, analysis, and the ability to manage projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with architects and other engineers to develop and refine designs, ensuring that projects meet both client specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple structural projects from concept through to completion.
  • Implement sustainable practices in design and construction.
  • Engage with clients to clarify project requirements and provide solutions.
  • Optimize designs for cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare project proposals.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and interns in best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on large scale projects
