Responsibilities

• Draft engineering plans and specifications for structural components.
• Oversee the quality and safety of construction processes.
• Collaborate with project managers to align engineering deliverables with project timelines.
• Participate in design team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and resources for projects.
• Contribute to technical proposals and contract negotiations.
• Document all structural calculations and analyses following industry standards.
• Facilitate communication between architects and engineering teams.
• Continuously improve design processes and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Registration with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant experience
