Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our expanding team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a variety of civil engineering projects, from design to execution, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead various civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure all engineering practices align with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Liaise with contractors and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Analyze project costs and prepare budget estimates.
• Create technical documentation and engineering designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Mentor and train junior staff on best practices in civil engineering.
• Participate in project review meetings to assess progress and address issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering projects
