DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automating and streamlining operations and processes, while also ensuring high availability and performance of our cloud-based systems. You'll work closely with development teams to oversee code releases and support our infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable automation systems.
• Work on system security and compliance audits.
• Optimize cloud resource allocation and usage.
• Collaborate on software testing and integration processes.
• Ensure disaster recovery processes are in place.
• Maintain documentation for system architecture and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cloud-based environment

• Google Professional Cloud Architect

• English: Fluent
