Seeking an experienced Investment Banker for our Johannesburg office to assist in mergers, acquisitions, and financial consulting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical capabilities and proven experience in financial modeling, enabling them to offer superior advice and develop strategic plans for our clients’ financial growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to assess performance.
• Guide junior analysts in completing financial models.
• Interact with clients to address concerns and provide insights.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business strategy.
• Collaborate in structuring financing and capital-raising transactions.
• Evaluate the performance of client investments and recommend adjustments.
• Report on investment performance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in market events and conferences to build networks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Investment Banking
• Master's degree is highly desirable

Experience

• 6-8 years of investment banking experience
