Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, performing surgeries, and providing compassionate care to our furry patients.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in client consultations to discuss treatment options and provide comprehensive care advice.
  • Perform surgical procedures with emphasis on patient safety and recovery.
  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day clinical operations along with the practice manager.
  • Participate in continuing education to keep abreast of the latest veterinary practices and innovations.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of clinic protocols and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Veterinary Surgery preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years in a veterinary practice with a focus on surgery and emergency care.
