Internal Auditor

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an accomplished Internal Auditor to help us ensure compliance and improve our operational processes. In this role, you will conduct internal audits, prepare financial statements, and provide crucial recommendations for enhancing business performance. You will work closely with management to ensure our financial practices are sound and effective.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate adequacies of internal controls and recommend enhancements.
• Compile audit documentation and ensure records are well maintained.
• Conduct follow-ups on audit recommendations to track progress.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting auditing practices.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions related to compliance and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Honours or relevant certifications (CIMA, ACCA) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in internal auditing
