Road Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Road Design Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and planning road infrastructure projects that meet safety and efficiency standards. This role requires a keen understanding of local regulations and the ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design road projects that meet client requirements and adhere to regulations
• Use CAD software to create accurate and detailed road designs
• Conduct thorough site investigations and surveys for data collection
• Collaborate with project managers to set project goals and timelines
• Maintain project documentation and provide progress reports to stakeholders
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental regulations compliance
• Evaluate project performance and suggest design modifications
• Assist in preparing Environmental Impact Assessments for road projects

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Additional qualifications in transportation engineering are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in road design and engineering

• Project Management Software

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent
