Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive veterinary care, including examinations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures. You will play a crucial role in the health and wellbeing of our patients and ensure a high standard of service for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose medical conditions in companion animals.
• Execute routine and specialized surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to enhance patient care.
• Document treatment plans and patient outcomes diligently.
• Provide guidance to pet owners on post-operative care and recovery.
• Perform diagnostic tests including blood work and imaging.
• Assist in the training and mentorship of veterinary students.
• Participate in the development of clinic policies and protocols.
• Handle any administrative responsibilities as required.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Master’s degree in Veterinary Surgery is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting
