We are on the lookout for a Financial Analyst with a strong quantitative background to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will bring experience in financial modelling, data analysis, and strategic planning, contributing to informed decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Participate in financial audits and implement recommendations.
• Assist in investment planning and capital allocation strategies.
• Engage in variance analysis to understand discrepancies in financial reports.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements for financial reporting.
• Provide training and guidance on financial systems and software.
• Lead initiatives for process improvements within the finance department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Economics
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis or investment banking
