Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Data Analyst to work in our Johannesburg office. You will analyze data to uncover insights that will influence company strategies and initiatives. Strong analytical and communication skills are a must, as you'll collaborate with various departments to ensure data is utilized effectively.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and patterns.
• Create visualizations to tell a story and support data-driven decision-making.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
• Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to evaluate results.
• Maintain documentation of data processes and methodologies.
• Provide recommendations based on data analysis outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field

Technical Skills

• SQL
• Python/R
• Excel
• Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with machine learning algorithms: Knowledge of machine learning techniques to optimize data analysis.
