Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, ensuring quality care and compliance with medical standards. You will also provide preventive care and health education to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to diverse patient populations.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in diagnosing and managing health conditions.
  • Perform routine check-ups and follow-up visits.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families about health concerns.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Engage in patient education and community outreach efforts.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior medical staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Additional specialization in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of clinical experience
