Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and variances.
• Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits.
• Support tax compliance and prepare necessary filings.
• Help in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasting.
• Ensure timely payments to creditors and manage collections.
• Track financial performance against the budget.
• Assist in implementing accounting software solutions.
• Provide training to junior staff on accounting practices.
• Participate in strategic decision-making with management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CA(SA) preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles

Technical Skills

• Accounting Software Proficiency
• Financial Reporting

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Certified Accountant (CA)
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Taxation: Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Excel: Advanced skills in Excel including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
