As a Purchasing Manager (Import Coordinator), you will manage the import process of goods, ensuring compliance with regulations while delivering exceptional customer service. Your role is crucial in maintaining efficient supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate the import of goods from international suppliers.
Arrange shipping and transportation of goods from ports of entry to warehouses.
Track the movement of goods, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
Liaise with freight forwarders and other external parties for efficient delivery.
Maintain accurate documentation related to imports and shipments.
Monitor inventory levels and manage reorder points.
Forecast demand and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Assist with logistics-related projects as needed.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Technical Skills
Experience with customs regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

CILT Certification is preferred.
