Job Description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Platform Engineer to join our performance-driven team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in automating and optimizing our development and deployment processes on cloud platforms, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Administer version control systems and collaboration tools.
• Establish monitoring strategies and alerting mechanisms.
• Evaluate and implement new DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Coordinate with teams to develop effective DevOps strategies.
• Assist in capacity planning and infrastructure scaling.
• Conduct regular systems audits to ensure compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotation for infrastructure support.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in DevOps or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud-based environments

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
