Job Description

As an Architect in our Pretoria office, you will harness your design and technical skills to contribute to a range of exciting projects. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to create impactful designs.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design unique spaces that are both practical and sustainable.
• Participate in community meetings and consultations for project development.
• Produce project reports and documentation for regulatory approvals.
• Mentor and train junior architects and support staff.
• Assess project challenges and develop strategies to overcome them.
• Ensure that the environmental impact of projects is minimized.
• Facilitate project meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Drive creative strategies in design that resonate with clientele.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a similar field
• Master's degree or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of professional architecture experience

• Building Codes
• Presentation Skills

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Project Manager (CPM)
• ISO Certification in Green Building

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
