Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Johannesburg office. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring our systems for security breaches, managing security tools, and implementing measures to enhance our security posture. The ideal candidate will have experience with security frameworks and a solid grasp of IT security principles.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate network and system vulnerabilities.
• Respond to security incidents and investigate breaches.
• Document all security breaches and threats to the systems.
• Enhance security measures against cyber attacks.
• Work with external auditors for security assessments.
• Train team members in security practices and issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance or related field
• Security Certifications (CISSP, CISM) preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years in a cybersecurity role or related position
