Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Pedorthist to join our passionate healthcare team. You will be responsible for evaluating patients' needs and delivering customized solutions to enhance their foot health.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ foot conditions to determine needs for orthotic solutions.
• Recommend custom orthotics based on individual assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Conduct follow-up appointments to monitor patients’ improvement.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for orthotic creation.
• Experiment with different materials for footwear to improve outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Podiatry or related field preferred

Experience

• Experience in custom orthotic design and fitting.

Technical Skills

• CAD Software

Certifications

• Advanced Footwear Technology Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in sports podiatry: Knowledge and experience in treating sports-related foot conditions.
• Familiarity with business operations: Experience in managing or assisting with the business side of a practice.
