Tax Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to support individuals and businesses with tax planning and compliance. This role involves analyzing tax regulations, preparing tax returns, and advising clients on tax-related matters. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of tax laws and the ability to provide detailed financial guidance.

Responsibilities

• Review and process tax filings for clients in a timely manner.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws to advise clients effectively.
• Prepare detailed tax analyses and reports.
• Support audits initiated by tax authorities.
• Work with clients to resolve tax-related issues and inquiries.
• Monitor and analyze tax compliance following South African regulations.
• Facilitate training on tax compliance for clients.
• Advocate for the client's best interests during board meetings and discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Honours or Master's degree in Taxation preferred

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in tax consultancy
