Sports Coach

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Sports Coach to join our team in Port Elizabeth. You will work closely with athletes, devising training programmes that enhance performance and teamwork. This role requires a deep understanding of various sports disciplines and the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.

Responsibilities

• Design training exercises that enhance athletic performance.
• Effectively communicate training expectations and goals to athletes.
• Coordinate logistics for training events and competitions.
• Encourage and instill discipline and respect among athletes.
• Utilise technology and analytics to monitor and improve athlete performance.
• Assist in managing team budgets and resources for training activities.
• Participate in coaching clinics to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Build relationships within the community to grow the academy's presence.
• Promote health and wellness through tailored fitness programs for athletes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Coaching, Sports Management or related field
• Relevant coaching licensure preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in competitive coaching
