As a Dentist at Health Dental Practice, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered dental care. You will conduct oral examinations, diagnose conditions, and implement treatment plans while ensuring a comfortable patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental examinations and assessments.
• Diagnose and treat dental diseases and issues.
• Carry out restorative procedures including fillings, crowns, and bridges.
• Administer local anesthesia and manage pain relief.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and health practices.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants.
• Ensure a sterile and safe environment for patient care.
• Stay updated with dental advancements and technologies.
• Participate in community outreach programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a dental practice

Technical Skills

• Oral Examination

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with digital dental technologies: Proficiency in using digital x-ray and imaging systems.
• Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) experience: Knowledge of advanced imaging techniques for dental diagnosis.
