Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and testing aerospace systems and components. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the success of aerospace projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from initial concept to production.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed engineering drawings.
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential engineering issues.
• Manage technical documentation and ensure traceability of requirements.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for integrated design solutions.
• Provide guidance in project planning and resource allocation.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and support vendor selection.
• Research and implement emerging technologies in the aerospace field.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in aerospace engineering

Technical Skills

• CAD Software
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Aerospace Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
