Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our information systems and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify and remediate security weaknesses in networks and systems.
• Perform regular security audits and assessments.
• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
• Ensure proper security controls are in place for cloud environments.
• Review and update security policies as needed.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance employee security awareness.
• Work closely with the IT department to maintain system security.
• Research and implement the latest cybersecurity solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity

• CompTIA Security+
