We are looking for a passionate Interior Designer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing various interior projects, from residential to commercial spaces. Your creative vision will be the driving force in transforming ideas into reality.

Responsibilities

• Lead design presentations and communicate ideas effectively.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with other design professionals for a cohesive project outcome.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
• Create 3D renderings to visualize design concepts for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Master's degree in Interior Design is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience with a strong portfolio

Technical Skills

• Project Management Software
• 3D Rendering Software

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified Interior Designer (CID)
• Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer (CKBD)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficient in lighting design principles: Experience in creating effective lighting plans that enhance design aesthetics.
• Interior styling and decoration experience: Ability to style and furnish spaces to reflect a cohesive design vision.
