Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and passionate pharmacist to join our thriving pharmacy team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication use, alongside engaging with patients to provide valuable healthcare advice.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions for patients.
• Offer detailed consultations on over-the-counter medications.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
• Conduct medication therapy management and follow-up consultations.
• Educate and train pharmacy staff on new medications and services.
• Partake in pharmacy inventory management and ordering processes.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Facilitate patient education workshops and health awareness campaigns.
• Collaborate with local healthcare organizations to enhance service delivery.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Additional certifications in Clinical Pharmacy preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
