We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive clinical skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting, providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical examinations and evaluations.
  • Manage patients with chronic diseases and coordinate care.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate.
  • Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Work as part of a team to improve patient care processes.
  • Conduct follow-up visits and health screenings.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Advise and support nursing staff in patient care.
  • Stay updated on best practices and clinical guidelines.
  • Engage in community outreach programs to promote health.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Public Health
  • Nurse Practitioner certification is mandatory
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in outpatient care
