We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Insurance Underwriter to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will evaluate risks and recommend insurable terms, contributing to the overall success of our clients' insurance needs. You will need to analyze various data, assess risk profiles, and ensure that our policies align with the company’s standards.

Responsibilities

• Review data to assess risk and determine appropriate premiums.
• Liaise with team members to share insights on underwriting decisions.
• Utilize underwriting software and tools for analysis.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting the insurance market.
• Prepare reports on underwriting performance metrics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance or Risk Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in the insurance industry, preferably in underwriting roles
