Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Fire Engineer who will provide technical expertise in the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with both local and national fire safety regulations. This position requires a proactive approach in fire risk assessments and developing safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assess fire safety risks for various projects.
• Liaise with clients to understand their fire safety needs.
• Prepare project proposals and budgets for fire safety systems.
• Review and approve technical documentation related to fire safety.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and guidelines.
• Perform site visits to evaluate installation quality and adherence to safety standards.
• Develop training programs for clients and employees on fire safety practices.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in fire safety technology and practices.
• Lead investigations into fire incidents and recommend improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers in fire safety engineering practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree in Fire Engineering or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in the fire engineering field

Technical Skills

• Fire modeling software expertise
• Familiarity with fire sprinkler systems

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership qualities
• High level of adaptability

Certifications

• Fire Investigation Certification
• Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in fire investigation and forensic analysis: Proven track record of assessing fire incidents and implementing improvements.
