Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our creative team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles. You will be responsible for bringing innovative design concepts to life, collaborating with developers and product managers.

Responsibilities

• Develop user personas and scenarios to guide design processes.
• Present design solutions and rationales to stakeholders.
• Facilitate design workshops with users to gather insights.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure accessibility across devices.
• Review designs for mistakes before final execution.
• Contribute to the overall branding and visual identity of projects.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant design qualifications or certifications
• A strong portfolio of work demonstrating design skills

Experience

• 3-5 years in UX/UI design with a focus on mobile applications

• Sketch

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Agile methodologies: Knowledge of Agile processes for design iteration and feedback.
• Background in UX writing: Ability to create effective and user-friendly copy for designs.
