Job Description

As a Telecommunications Line Installer and Repairer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting broadband services for our customers. You will work closely with a team of technicians to ensure that all installations meet company standards and provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot broadband internet connections for clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service during installations and repairs.
• Document installation processes and report on any issues encountered.
• Liaise with technical support staff to resolve complex issues.
• Ensure installations are completed within stipulated timelines.
• Perform routine maintenance on telecommunications equipment.
• Actively contribute to improving service delivery procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Attend scheduled meetings for performance reviews and team updates.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in telecommunications

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a telecommunications-related role

• VoIP technologies

Certifications

• Operational Health and Safety certification
• Valid driver's license

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
