Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to enhance our consultancy team in East London. You will be responsible for conducting thorough environmental studies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing innovative solutions to environmental challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Lead environmental assessments and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Develop client-specific sustainability plans and initiatives.
  • Assist in crisis management related to environmental incidents.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current environmental programs.
  • Contribute to company-wide sustainability goals and initiatives.
  • Provide expert consultation on waste management and resource conservation.
  • Liaise with government agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Draft policies that promote environmental stewardship within organizations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management or related field
  • Masters in Environmental Science is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental impact assessments
