Job Description

As a Retread Supervisor, you will oversee the tire retreading process in a bustling manufacturing environment. Your role includes managing a team of technicians, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards while optimizing efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the retreading department.
• Coordinate technician schedules to meet production goals.
• Prepare reports on production performance metrics.
• Ensure all staff adhere to safety regulations.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Provide feedback and training to improve team performance.
• Engage in problem-solving to address production issues.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role within manufacturing.
