Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our team at Top Community Pharmacy in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing advice to patients, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. This role provides the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient well-being in a community setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medication reviews and provide counselling.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.
• Assist in inventory management and medication procurement.
• Engage in continuing education to stay current with pharmacy practice.
• Support chronic disease management and patient adherence strategies.
• Provide immunizations and health screenings as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient health outcomes.
• Mentor pharmacy interns and trainees.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in retail pharmacy

• Clinical Pharmacy

Certifications

• Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
