Job Description

We are seeking a proficient Actuary to join our energetic team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will leverage analytical skills and statistical knowledge to assess risk and inform financial decisions. You will be responsible for creating models that predict outcomes, enhancing our financial strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on emerging actuarial methodologies and best practices.
  • Implement red flag reporting frameworks to monitor key risk indicators.
  • Help design training programs for junior actuaries and interns.
  • Assist in client presentations, delivering clear and impactful insights.
  • Evaluate past financial performance to assist in future projections.
  • Provide statistical analysis to support company-wide strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate in preparing annual reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics
  • Master's degree in Actuarial Science is a plus.
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the financial sector
