Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

We are in search of a Cybersecurity Specialist to safeguard our systems and data against cyber threats. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of network security, vulnerability assessment, and incident response, and will play a pivotal role in enhancing our cybersecurity framework.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain security policies and protocols.
• Perform penetration testing and simulate threats to identify weaknesses.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and regulatory agencies during investigations.
• Train employees on data privacy and security regulations.
• Evaluate and implement security software and tools.
• Respond to security breaches and provide post-incident reports.
• Monitor user activity and prevent unauthorized access.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CEH or CompTIA Security+

Experience

• 3-5 years in IT Security roles
