Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Accountant to be part of our Cape Town team. This role requires strong analytical skills and a solid background in accounting principles. Your responsibilities will include preparing tax returns, conducting audits, and providing financial planning support to our management team.

Responsibilities

• Review financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate detailed financial reports for management.
• Support the finance team during audits.
• Assist in compliance with local accounting regulations.
• Handle queries related to invoices and expenses.
• Monitor cash flow and manage budget variances.
• Train junior staff on accounting practices and software.
• Update financial systems and processes for efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss financial strategies.
• Assist with cost control and reduction initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• ACCA or CIMA certification is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles

Certifications

• CPA or similar accreditation

Languages

• English: Fluent
