We are searching for a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Port Elizabeth team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security protocols and a proven track record of safeguarding sensitive data. You will be responsible for implementing security measures, conducting risk assessments, and responding to incidents to ensure our systems remain secure against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Create and enforce security protocols and standards.
• Analyze network traffic for unusual activity and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct incident investigations and produce reports.
• Work closely with development teams to build secure applications.
• Provide guidance on risk management and threat analysis.
• Stay updated on security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
• Facilitate cybersecurity training and awareness programs.
• Oversee security development lifecycle and assurance.
• Collaborate on security in business continuity planning.
• Document security incidents and responses for review.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
