We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our Pretoria team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in structural design and analysis, as well as excellent project management skills. You will work on a diverse range of projects, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards while delivering innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design meetings and project briefings.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate completion.
• Review project proposals and provide technical insight.
• Oversee material selection and procurement processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in structural design best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in structural design and analysis

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification
• Safety Management certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Seismic Design: Experience in designing structures to withstand seismic loads.
• Experience in Geotechnical Engineering: Familiarity with soil analysis and foundation design.
