Job Description

We are seeking a Fleet Management Advisor to oversee and optimise our fleet operations in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, logistics, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include assessing fleet performance, implementing strategies to reduce costs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate fleet usage patterns to optimise vehicle allocation.
  • Introduce innovative solutions for fuel management and cost reduction.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts for fleet operations.
  • Lead audits and assessments to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Identify potential risks in fleet operations and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to review fleet performance with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the IT department in implementing fleet management software.
  • Provide insights on sustainability initiatives related to fleet management.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring fleet efficiency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of fleet operation processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field
  • MBA in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in fleet operations management
