Job Description

Join our dynamic finance team as an Accountant in Durban. The successful candidate will manage financial records, help with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. You will play a crucial role in reporting financial performance and advising on strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in preparing accurate financial forecasts.
• Review and enhance accounting practices.
• Coordinate with tax advisors on tax matters.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets.
• Participate in long-term financial planning.
• Assist with the integration of accounting software.
• Provide financial insight for decision-making.
• Assist in assessing financial risks and opportunities.
• Evaluate current accounting software systems and recommend improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant field
• Master's degree or additional qualifications in Accounting is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in accounting roles

• Budget Preparation

Certifications

• Completion of GAAP training is beneficial

Languages
