Forensic Science Technician

Job Description

The DNA Examiner will be responsible for analyzing samples to identify individuals through DNA testing. This role requires a strong understanding of molecular biology and genetics, as well as proficiency in various DNA testing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform DNA extractions and quantifications using established protocols.
• Utilize various DNA testing platforms including PCR and STR.
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and laboratory protocols.
• Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving testing methods.
• Manage laboratory supplies and ensure adequate inventory.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Forensic Science or relevant area

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in forensic analysis

Languages

• English: Fluent
