Inside Meter Tester

Job Description

As an Inside Meter Tester, your primary responsibilities will include calibrating meters, conducting tests to ensure accuracy, and working closely with the Metering team to solve any technical issues. Your role is vital in maintaining our service standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular testing and calibration of different meter types.
• Identify faults in meters and effectively communicate findings to the team.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior Metering Technicians.
• Monitor the performance of meters and report any discrepancies promptly.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training or certification in meter testing or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in meter testing or a similar role

Advantageous

• Experience with different meter types: Hands-on experience with a variety of energy meters.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations: Familiarity with safety and quality standards in energy metering.
