Job Description

As a Printing Press Operator at XYZ Printers, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our advanced printing presses. Your keen attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will ensure that each print job meets our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various types of printing presses.
• Adjust machinery settings for optimal performance and quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with the production team to achieve output targets.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to keep machinery in working order.
• Keep meticulous records of production output and quality checks.
• Assist in training junior operators on equipment and safety practices.
• Research and implement best practices for printing techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in printing or related field is preferable

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in printing operation

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of specific printing techniques
• Basic computer skills

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure

Languages

• English: Fluent
