Job Description

Seeking a creative UX Designer to contribute to our dynamic team in Cape Town. You will play a crucial role in shaping user experiences by translating user needs into design solutions. Collaborate with other designers, product managers, and developers to craft user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of design software and a portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaborative design sessions with cross-functional teams.
• Create user personas and user journey maps to inform design decisions.
• Utilize design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch) to create high-fidelity designs.
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities.
• Actively participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
• Master's degree in Design or Human-Computer Interaction is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design
