• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
• Assist in preparing financial forecasting and budgeting.
• Analyze financial statements and provide insights to management.
• Oversee the bookkeeping process, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
• Facilitate communication between clients and internally regarding financial progress.
• Handle all correspondence related to clients' financial issues.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Bachelor's degree is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles

Technical Skills

• Accounting Software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks)
• Microsoft Excel

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Organizational Skills

Certifications

• Certified Bookkeeper (CB)
• SAIPA Registration (South African Institute of Professional Accountants)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
