Job Description

The Lasting Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining lasting machines, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes while meeting production targets. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our production quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure lasting machines are operated correctly and efficiently.
• Monitor machine performance and optimize operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to prevent machine failures.
• Maintain accurate logs of machine usage and production output.
• Assist in training new staff in machine operation and safety practices.
• Work closely with supervisors to meet production goals.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement recommendations.
• Foster a collaborative work environment, supporting team efforts.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.

Requirements

Education

• Technical qualification in a related field is advantageous.

Experience

• Experience in training and mentoring junior operators is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Ability to operate and troubleshoot machines
• Basic computer literacy

• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures
